Ok so random topic I am wondering about. Feel free to post random things you don't understand.
My topic of the night is light bulbs, specifically CFLs. I really like the white light they give off compared to incandescent bulbs. I have moved all the bulbs in my house to CFLs. The thing I don't understand is why some are more yellow than others.
My bathroom has 2 switches. Above the mirror there are 3 14 watt bulbs that light up when the light switch is cut on. Above the shower is another 20 watt bulb that switches on when you cut the fan on.
What I wanna know is why the 3 bulbs give off a yellow light and the single bulb gives off a nice white light. This is socket independent. I wanna know how to avoid the yellow bulbs and find the white bulbs, or even why some are more yellow than others.
