A new micro projector has been launched by AAXA called the M1. The M1 weighs 385g and is capable of a 66 lumen brightness that can throw an image on the wall measuring about 100 inches in size.
The micro projector can work independently or used connected to a smartphone or other computer device. It comes supplied with 1GB of internal memory which is expandable by using a microSD card. Also built in are stereo speakers although these are rated at just 1 watt which is sufficient for a quiet setting.
Two versions of the AAXA M1 micro projector are being made available which include a standard and plus version. The standard version costs $299 while the Plus version costs $359 and includes another VGA port.
To control the unit you can either user the on-board controls, or use the supplied remote control. To connect the phone to other devices you can purchase optional accessories that allow for devices such as iPhone, iPod Touch, PSP, Zune, Samsung and LG Phones.
The standard version will begin shipping December 21 while the Plus version will start shipping next month on the 21st.
