Dell’s upcoming Android smartphone has been caught clearing the FCC.  The Company’s first Android phone that launched in China a couple of weeks ago. Ans, Michael Dell has recently confirmed that his company would launch an Android smartphone in the US via AT&T in early 2010.

The Dell Mini 3iX packs GSM 850/1900 and UNTS bands so all that’s really needed is a combined announcement from AT&T and Dell. The FCC also confirms that the Mini 3iX has  Bluetooth and Wi-Fi.  The documents don’t confirm any other details, such as form factor, operating system or other specs. The Dell Mini 3iX has some stiff competition. Hopefully that will mean a cheaper price point.
