Samsung Mobile and T-Mobile USA announced the upcoming availability of the Samsung Behold II today. The Behold II is scheduled to launch later this year, though a specific release date and pricing were not announced at this time. The Behold II will indeed have Android. Most rumors had pointed toward the Behold being an Android handset, and joins the carrier’s other Google devices, which include T-Mobile G1, the T-Mobile MyTouch 3G, and the upcoming Motorola Cliq.
T-Mobile’s latest Android set is a full-touch model backed by a 5 megapixel camera with autofocus, flash, and video recording, a 3.2-inch AMOLED display, WiFi, Bluetooth 2.1, and microSD expansion up to 16GB. In addition, the Behold II is equipped with Samsung’s innovative TouchWiz user interface, allowing easy customization with widgets located in a slide out tray on the left side of the home screen and providing one-touch access to a customer’s favorite and most commonly used features and applications. Moreover the phone has a 3D “cube menu” for rotating among common features like web browsing , YouTube access and Amazon music store.
